A Silkwork Picture, circa 1800, depicting two men fishing on a river, in verre eglomise frame
Estimated at £60 - £90
Numerous tears to the silk, the worst are in the sky between the two trees, another area between the two fisherman and further to the left middle. Some stitch repairs within the river. Expected fading and discolouration. Losses to the gesso frame.

The first Antiques & Interiors sale of 2024 comprises over 900 lots and includes a specialist section of Affordable Modern & Contemporary Art, and over 170 lots of Silver, including part of a collection of Regimental Silver, sold by order of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers to benefit the Fusiliers’ Aid Society. The second part of the Regimental Silver Collection will be included in the Jewellery, Watches and Silver Sale on 13th January.
