A Late Victorian Civil Court Uniform, to Thomas Sims Esq. C.B., comprising coatee with heavy gold braid to collar, cuffs and flaps, trousers with 2 in gold oak leaf-patterned braid, white breeches, two pairs of white stockings, red leather and gilt metal sword belt, sword sling and Sam Browne belt, all in a japanned tin case named to the lid

Coatee with several small moth holes near left armpit and slight staining internally. One moth hole to right sleeve. Otherwise good. Superficial surface moth damage to dress trousers but otherwise good. Breeches with several small moth holes to front, otherwise good. Other items in good condition. Case with some rusting overall. Coat measures 42cm shoulder to shoulder, 91cm chest, 86cm waist, 56cm sleeve, 46cm front length and 93cm back length.
