A George V Silver Trophy-Cup, by Adie Brothers, Birmingham, 1932, facetted tapering and on spreading conforming foot, with two angular scroll handles, engraved with an inscription for the Pendle Forest Harriers Hunt Cup 1933, won by Marcus III, 19cm high, 14oz 9dwt

. The inscription reads: 'The Pendle Forest Harriers Hunt Adjacent Hunts Welter Weight Race April 1st 1933 won by Mr W. B. Henderson's Marcus III (Owner)'. Fully marked near rim, there is a small amount of wear to the marks. There is some surface scratching and wera, consistent with age and use. The surface has been treated to prevent tarnish. This has now discoloured to a yellowish colour. A small test area shows the discoloured material is removable with nail varnish remover.
