Taxidermy: A Cased Victorian Diorama of Dunlins (Calidris alpina), circa 1900, a group of eight adult Dunlins, all mounted in feeding pose, upon faux rockwork, above two small simulated pools of water, set against a plain papered backdrop, enclosed within a period ebonised three-glass display case, 77.5cm by 24.5cm by 46.5cm (a/f)

.. all specimens within are in faded condition, five examples with noticeable damage to the neck areas, outer case showing signs of age, various scratches and damage evident, 04/08/21

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
