A charming group of vintage Postman's kit, with wartime infantry-type helmet stencilled 'GPO', similarly stencilled 'CPO' canvas pouch, along with more civilian postie paraphernalia: twelve 'Post Office - YO' (York) numbered enamelled metal badges (6 different numbers), felt belt embroidered 'Post Office - Postman' in red, a wonderfully worn wooden postmark handstamp holder with three stamps for Boroughbridge, York in single ring and two formats of double ring, with the metal date slugs in another wooden box incorporating slug rack. Also a metal box for Inland Telegram Forms.
