The East Riding of Yorkshire Yeomanry, an Officer's Full Dress Lance Cap, circa 1903-1914, the black leather skull with gilt metal mounts and 'lace' waistband, the side panels of French grey cloth, the gilt back plate with silver mounts comprising cypher of Edward VII, running fox, unit title, foliage brackets and rose, gilt lion head side ornaments, velvet lined gilt chin chain, gilt oak leaf finials to the trencher top, the plume boss formed as a large rose, the gilt metal hussar pattern plume holder supporting an original cock's feather plume of French grey over white, internally with original leather sweat band and silk liner bearing supplier's label "H Poole & Co, Savile Row, London W."
