^ A George III Regency Silver Snuffer's Tray, maker's mark I.W possibly overstriking another, London 1818, with elaborate cast border featuring a lion mask, an eagle, scrolls, flowers and shells, the centre with flat chased foliate border, on four scroll supports, 23cm wide, 12oz 6dwt

Marks struck to one end on top surface. Makers mark possibly overstriking another but reads as I.W, other marks clear. One or two feet possibly slightly bent so ever so slight wobble on a flat surface. A pleasing gauge, generally good order.
