Taxidermy: A Cast Usk Brown Trout (Salmo trutta), dated 1950, by Rowland Ward Ltd, London, a plaster cast half block of a Brown Trout, mounted upon a rectangular oak shield, 61cm by 22.5cm, bearing ivorine plaque to lower left - "July 22nd 1950, Usk Brown Trout, caught by: W.H. Condition report – Repair to the lower part of the tail fin ( see image), to be honest hardly noticeable, at the top of the tail fin the corner is chipped off, small amount of paint missing to the side fin (see image), overall condition is very good with strong colours remaining. Shield also good no cracks or damage.
We are happy to provide Condition Reports to Prospective Buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale.
