Taxidermy: A Victorian Diorama of British Woodland Birds and Animals, circa 1870-1900, to include a full mount Polecat with rabbit prey, Chaffinch, a pair of Ring-necked pheasants, common Kingfisher, Wood Pigeon, Cuckoo, Bullfinch, Starling, Redstart, Skylark, and a pair of Grey partridge, all mounted upon and around a centrally positioned moss and lichen covered branch, amidst a natural setting of dry grasses and fauna, set against a wash painted interior, enclosed within a period single-glass display case, 106.5cm by 29cm by 84cm

Highlights include a large Late Victorian Diorama of Sea and Estuary Birds, circa 1880-1900 and a cased Late Victorian King Charles’ Spaniel “Charlie”, circa 1860-1880 from the Harold Soar Collection, a cased Mandarin Duck, late 20th century from a private collection of cases mounted by David Keningale, and a Diorama of Red-Legged Partridge, 1997 from a private collection of cases by Colin Dunton.
