Sight time staining to paper. Covered in a thin layer of surface dirt. Two pin holes to each corner within the margin. Tear 2cm lower right through margin and 1cm into the image within the black square. Right hand side and bottom edge have a deckled edge. The odd minor handling crease to margins. The paper appears to have variations of colour throughout, this is evident with the margins? In addition to the odd sporadic dirty mark to margins. Smudges to areas of the signature. Slight losses to gold pigment, upper right of the left shoe and a few tiny spots within the gold of this shoe and one very minor surface scratch to the upper right of the right shoe. Brown spot right hand side to the right of the eyes and one upper left to the right of the blue and red shape, these may be by design?
