A Fairbairn Sykes F.S.Fighting Knife, 2nd Pattern by Wilkinson Sword Ltd., London, the 15.5cm hand forged double edge steel blade with maker's mark etched within a panel to one side of the ricasso, the opposing side etched THE F.S.FIGHTING KNIFE, with blackened steel crossguard, blackened brass chequered grip and mounted leather scabbard, the elasticated strap replaced with a leather strap; a French M1866 Chassepot Yataghan Sword Bayonet, with St.Etienne T section steel blade, lacks scabbard (2)

. 1 - Fine brown pitting/dirt to the blade. The hilt has a small blemish above the crossguard with a further ding to the pommel and knut. The scabbard has a later leather strap to replace the original elasticated one. 2 - Nicks to edge of blade, with signs of resharpening.
