1959 Greeves Scottish Trials Motorcycle Frame Number 6021063 Engine Number 379D6109 With V5 listing one former keeper
Greeves' unorthodox trademarks of a cast beam downtube and rubber-in-torsion leading-link fork proved adaptable to almost all forms of motorcycle, but it was the firm's off-road products which put them on the map. The off-road range was extensively revised for 1958. The name "Scottish" had been adapted as the model frame following Jack Simpson's victory in the Scottish Six Days Trial 200cc category in 1957. The first year Greeves had fielded a factory team in this prestigious event. This well presented example is a very good useable bike with a little recommission. Both tyres are perished. Turnover has good compression and moves freely through gears. Fitted with 197cc engine.
