A Victorian Garnet Brooch
three cushion cut garnets in yellow collet settings, to a quatrefoil scroll frame, with a pendant drop centred by an oval cut garnet similarly set, and two festoon chains
measures 7.3cm by 5.7cm

The brooch is in splits and areas of discolouration evident, there are also signs of lead solder to the reverse. It fastens with a pin and C-hook and features a safety chain. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold. Gross weight 16.2 grams. CR made 03.08.23.
