A French Silver-Gilt Mounted Porcelain Scent-Bottle
Maker's Mark AL, a Bird Below, Circa 1890

the porcelain body painted in blue and pink, one side with a putto, the other with flowers, the foot and neck each with foliage engraved mounts, with hinged cover

Estimated at £120 - £180


With French marks underneath and on neck mount. There is some bruising to the mounts. The porcelain is intact, though with some loss to the gilding. There is overall some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The bottle is circa 1890.
