Taxidermy: A Victorian Display of British Birds, dated 1867, a cased display of various British birds, to include - Corncrake, Kingfisher, Snipe, male and female Bullfinch, Brambling, and a North American Red-winged Blackbird, all mounted upon and around a centrally positioned simulated rockscape, amidst dry grasses, and fauna, set against a pale yellow and blue sky painted backdrop, enclosed within a period three-glass angled display case, 66cm by 23.5cm by 64.5cm, bearing hand written label to interior centre right - "Preserved by G. Palmer, 57 Burton St North, Birmingham, August 1867".
