Berry Bros. & Rudd Cellar Tour for Four
Kindly Donated by Berry Bros. & Rudd Cellar, London
Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain’s oldest wine and spirit merchants, a company that can trace its origins back to 1698. Today it remains a family-owned business trading from the same historic premises at No.3 St James’s Street. The company is still owned and run by members of the Berry and Rudd families. Offering everything from events and experiences in its cellars to Cellar Plan and wine storage facilities for wine collectors, with all sorts of bottles in between, Berry Bros. & Rudd provides the closest link between those who make the wine and those who drink it. Most importantly, we still believe that everything you should look for in a wine or spirit comes down to one simple question: “Is it good to drink?”
The auction prize is a tour of our Cellars followed by champagne for up to four people, hosted by a senior member of staff, in our historic premises at No.3 St James’s Street, London.
Dates and time will be organised directly with the winner and will need to be mutually agreeable to both parties. Please note that tours will take place Monday-Friday during our opening hours.
Sold for £500
Estimated at £500 - £700
Auction: Timed Auction For The Yorkshire Dales Rivers Trust, ending 24th Nov, 2023
The Yorkshire Dales Rivers Trust (YDRT) was established in 2004 as a Registered Charity, working to enhance and protect the rivers of the Yorkshire Dales for the benefit of everyone.
YDRT works across the catchments of the five major rivers in the Yorkshire Dales; the Ure, Swale, Nidd, Ouse and Wharfe, to improve water quality, increase biodiversity, deliver natural flood management and habitat creation projects as well as engaging with schools and communities.
Last year our Rivers2U education programme engaged with over 1500 school children, inspiring the next generation by teaching them about our rivers and wildlife and how they can help care for and protect our river ecosystems. All funds raised from the auction will go towards running the education programme in 2024.
