Taxidermy: A Large Cased Diorama of Arctic Birds, circa 1875, Arctic Seas, by Henry Shaw, Taxidermist, Salop, an interesting diorama of Arctic birds comprising two Petrels, a male and female Long-Tailed Duck, two Black-Throated Divers, and two Red-Throated Divers, with a small mouse or vole centred below, all mounted upon a painted faux rock ledge amidst seaweed, sea shells, and fauna, set against a pale blue painted back drop, enclosed within a large oak framed three-glass floor standing display case, 104.5cm by 49cm by 132cm, bearing copper shield - ''Arctic Seas, Collected by A.H.P'', signed and dated to interior floor H. Shaw, Salop 75.
