The BSA D7 Super Bantam was introduced in 1959 and had a similar 175 cc engine to its predecessor the D5 but had an entirely new swinging arm frame and hydraulically damped front fork set up with nacelle headlamp. Originally available in only sapphire blue or regal red.

This bike appears to have originally been a sapphire blue bike as some blue can still be seen on the underside of the tank. Now presented in black with a silver tank panel, the bike is in very nice running order and is sold with an MOT.

Sold for £1,500
Estimated at £1,500 - £2,000

Appears to have originally been a blue bike and repainted, now painted black. The paintwork appears to have been carried out a long time ago as it now has some imperfections consistent with age. Both wheels are painted grey/silver and do have rust spots present. The chrome work on the bike does have slight pitting as expected and there are marks around the bike consistent with its age. Overall a very nice clean bike that is ready to use with nice patina.

We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
