the parcel-gilt silver coronets each of typical form, with textured gilt frames and silver 'pearls', with crimson velvet cap, capped with a gilt wire tassel and with ermine trim, the robes comprising a baron's crimson velvet robe with ermine trim; a baroness' crimson velvet bodice; crimson gown with ermine trim and needlework flowers and foliage and a lady's crimson velvet robe with ermine trim (qty)

Worn by Richard Bethell, 3rd Baron Westbury (1852-1930) and his wife Lady Agatha Manner Tollemache, daughter of William, Lord Huntingtower, at the coronation of Edward VII on 9 August 1902.

The coronets are each fully marked on the rim. The marks are generally clear. They have not been cleaned and so are heavily tarnished. Some of the 'pearls' on the baron's coronet are somewhat loose and with some bruising. There is some some and tearing to the red velvet on the baron's coronet. The fur overall is somewhat faded and with some staining. There is some overall wear to the velvet on the gowns. The silk is torn and very worn in places.
