The Military CAN-AM motorcycle was originally manufactured in Canada by Bombardier Motorcycles. Used by the British Army to replace the old BSA B40 model. They were supplied under two different contracts the first FVE22A/36 in 1978 and the second FVE22A/88 in 1980 and so referred to as MKI and MKII respectively although in reality there were very few differences.
This bike is a MKII supplied for use 13/11/1980 to 118 Field Squadron (V) and saw service as 34 HG 38 before it was sold 20/01/1987 when it showed 7181 miles as can be seen from the form 654 supplied with the bike. It was then registered on a Q plate 01/08/1987 and is sold with V5C and in full running order. Still painted in Military colours and sporting the odd battle scar.
