The Pontiac Fiero was produced between 1984 and 1988 by General Motors Pontiac Division, the company were very careful with how they marketed the car and sold it as a small engined 'commuter car' so as not to step on the toes of the Chevrolet Corvette. Initially available as four cylinder 2.5 mid-mounted engine and then latterly as a 2.8 litre V6.
The body panels were a largely plastic affair and mounted on to a separate chassis in theory the body could be removed and the vehicle still driven, hence the Pontiac Fiero is a very popular car with kit car builders and many have already been turned in to Ferrari look a likes.
This car is one of the early four cylinder cars and is said to have originally started out in Florida as a red car, vandal damage caused the then owner to re-spray the vehicle in its current 'Ford Imperial Blue'.
Fitted with grey velour interior the seats have built in speakers fitted to the head restraints. The current keeper has added the rare rear air intakes to help cool the engine.
Adorned with the Flying Horse decal across the bonnet and Fiero decal on the windscreen the car is not for the shy retiring person.
Sold with hand held self diagnostic machine which was well ahead of its time, owners manual, history file and numerous photographs.
Cherished registration A15 BGT is also included in the sale.

The condition of the vehicle is very good and the paintwork has been completed to a very good standard. No sign of panel damage or crazing to the plastic/GRP panels. The interior is grey velour and in very good order. Slight oil leak from the rocker cover gasket but spare included in sale. Parts included in the sale briefly include: Used headlamp, used brake pads, used caliper, pair of new brake discs, used coil x 2, used fuel pump, used headlamp actuator, used distributor cap, new rocker cover gasket set, oil filter, used rotor arm, various auxiliary belts, Haynes manual and owners manual.
