The Buick Invicta was built by Buick between 1959 and 1963 and was a continuation of the Buick Century concept that mated the standard size Buick Le-Sabre body with Buicks 401 Cubic inch Nail-Head engine. The car was often referred to as "The Bankers Hot Rod".
This beautiful car is presented in white with white and red leather bench seats. One of only fifteen thousand three hundred Hardtop Sedans built in 1960. It comes with servicing receipts whilst with its current owner and the prop shaft was overhauled in 2011 which required a test drive with two mechanics concealed within the boot to locate a grumble. The water pump was also replaced in April of this year.
Used for shows only since its current owner acquired it in 2011.
The vehicle is sold with the spare parts listed in the condition report and period picnic accessories.

The car is in good order for a vehicle of its age no advisories on its current MOT, slight rust patches above the rear screen and a few other rust spots on the hood. Both lower rear quarter panels have rust areas the worst is the off side where the rust has broken through the paint. Trailing edges of both front wings have small rust bubbles. Lower panels have been re-sprayed and are a very slight different colour. The front bench seats stitching has split both on the base and the back. Spare parts as follows: Spare exhaust down pipes x 2, new coil, 2 x air filters new, 2 fuel filters new, full set of new spark plugs plus a used set, used set of plug leads, new distributor cap, aux belt, wiper blades etc. MOT history as follows: 2016 @ 71824 2015 @ 71802 2014 @ 71775 2013 @ 71718 2012 @ 71640 2011 @ 71579 2010 missing 2009 missing 2008 @ 71377 2007 @ 69157 2006 @ 67581 No further MOT's present.
