the bowl tapering and on spreading foot, the bowl engraved 'For the best Pen of South Down Ewes' on one side and on the other with an ewe, the foot engraved 'Petersfield Agricultural Society' and dated 181?

Fully marked on foot. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use.
