The inscription reads 'The Bath and West of England Society To Mr John Wilcox for Exhibiting Two fat Ewes awarded at the Annual Meeting 1810'.

Fully marked under foot. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving.
