Rolex: A Rare Art Deco Observatory Quality Open Faced Pocket Watch
signed Rolex, Observatory, circa 1935

manual wound lever movement signed, movement inscribed Elinvar Balance & HPG and Breguet HPG, adjusted to six positions, two tone silvered dial with Breguet style Arabic numerals, seconds dial, blued steel hands, snap-on back with an engraved inscription, inside back cover with maker's mark Keystone Victory and numbered 4033275, with Rolex fitted box, together with a gilt metal chain and pen knife

Case with surface scratches, case sides with minor dents in parts, case back with an engraved inscription "Mizpah Edgar from Grace Xmas 1941", case with no gold hallmark and no foreign gold marks, dial with staining marks between 10 and 1 o'clock positions, hand setting correctly and winding smoothly, movement in going order. Total watch weight without chain and knife is 39.4g. Later added gilt metal chain and pen knife.
