A Victorian Silver Goblet
by Mark Willis, Sheffield, 1899

the bowl tapering an on spreading beaded foot, the bowl engraved with an inscription
18.6cm high, 5oz 18dwt, 184gr

Provenance:
Possibly with C. & T. Mammon, The London Silver Vaults, May 2008.

The inscription reads 'Presented by Chas. V. Jackson for 3 best fat pigs Northampton Xmas 1899'.

Fully marked near rim. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a shallow bruise to the lower bowl.
