A George III, George IV, Victorian, and George V Silver Table-Service, Mostly by David Landsborough Fullerton, London, 1922, 1923 and 1924, Retailed by Mappin and Webb, most Fiddle Thread pattern, most engraved with a crest, comprising: 11 table-forks 18 table-spoons, one engraved with a coat-of-arms 12 dessert-forks 12 dessert-spoons 12 teaspoons, one Fiddle pattern, engraved with a differing crest 2 sauce-ladles in fitted oak canteen with hinged cover and one pull out tray the canteen 44.5cm wide, 147oz 13dwt, 4,592gr (67) The crest is that of Aylmer, for Captain Edward Arthur Aylmer, D.S.C. (1892-1974). Provenance: Captain Edward Arthur Aylmer, D.S.C. (1892-1974), and by descent.

. Each piece marked on handle. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving and to the tines and bowls on some. The table-forks: 6 by David Landsborough Fullerton, 1 1923 and 5 1924; two Exeter, 1851; 1 by George Adams, 1856 and two by Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater, 1856 The table-spoons: 12 by David Landsborough Fullerton, 2 1923 and 10 1924; two by George Adams, 1845; two by John & Henry Lias, 1843; one by Eley, Fearn and Chawner, 1809 and one Exeter 1851 The dessert-forks: by David Landsborough Fullerton, 1924 The dessert-spoons: by David Landsborough Fullerton, 1 1922, 2 1923 and 9 1924 The teaspoons: eleven by David Landsborough Fullerton, 1924 and one by William Chawner, 1827 The sauce-ladles, by David Landsborough Fullerton, 1924
