inverted pear-shaped and on openwork foliage and fruiting base, the sides chased with foliage scrolls and flowers on a textured ground and centring four vacant cartouches, the pull-off cover with foliage and flower finial

Fully marked on side and further part marked on cover bezel. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points. The cartouches have possibly been erased. There is probably a section of the flower on the finial lacking.
