A Set of Six George III Silver-Handled Table-Knives

each with tapering part reeded handle and steel blade, filled

Five marked on handle with maker's mark, duty mark and lion passant. There is some wear to the mraks. The fifth with only a slight hint of a mark. The blades each stamped 'London Made' and with a crown. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some bruises overall. This is particularly evident at the ends of a couple which have perhaps been dropped and have some splits.
