Hanhart: A Rare Second World War German Luftwaffe Pilots Chronograph Wristwatch, signed Hanhart, circa 1940, (calibre 41) manual wound lever movement numbered 119632, column wheel chronograph movement, overcoil hairspring, shock protection, original black dial with luminous Arabic numerals, two sub dials for seconds and 30-minute register, outer fifth of seconds track, cathedral luminous hands, chrome plated case with buttons in the band to operate chronograph, large winding crown, fixed bars between the lugs, stainless steel screw back inscribed Boden Edelstahl Wassergeschutzt Stossfest and numbered 119632

Hanhart was contracted in the Second World War to supply watches to the Luftwaffe pilots and naval officers.

Case with chrome plated surfaces rubbed throughout but has a good aged patina, case with surface scratches, case with minor dents in parts, crown slightly rubbed, later strap, original dial finish, luminous hour markers have evenly faded and have a good aged patina, hands with luminous nicely evenly faded in colour, hand setting correctly, chronograph functions are working, movement in going order.
