Early 19th Century Persian Robe, comprising a grey silk brocade woven with floral sprigs overall, a stylised design with exagerrated detail to the hips, gilt metallic trim to the edges and vents to each side seam of the robe, round neck, open front with silver oval shaped 'buttons' and faux loops to the opposite side, similarly trimmed to bottom half of shoulder sleeve seam, the seams are open under the armpit and to half of the lower sleeve seam, trimmed in yellow, blue cotton lining

Slight fading under both arms and stitched repairs under arms in blue thread. Light stain, some slight marks/stains overall, some small, tiny holes to the reverse. Slight wear overall.
