The Allie Maillard conformateur was a head-measuring tool made in Paris circa 1900, designed and patented to measure the head size and shape of a person, so that a custom-made hat could be built by the milliner

It appears to be intact, and all the wooden pegs appear to be there. Please see the extra images as well.
It came from a local family gentlemans outfitters firm.
