Maker's Mark Worn ?&Co, First Quarter 19th Century

spool-shaped and on spreading foot, with gadrooned rim and pierced cover, engraved 'Salt'

Marked on base with maker's mark and tally mark. There is some wear to the marks. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is some bruising to the cover, particularly one side which is slightly pushed down.
