A Late 19th Century Moro Kris, Philippines, with 55cm slightly wavy pamor blade, ringed silver mendak, braided string bound grip and ivory pommel carved as a stylised bird's head with scroll crest and beak, lacks scabbard, 69.5cm; a Borneo Kris, with 27cm pamor blade, plaited sennet bound grip and bone offset pommel carved as a grotesque horned mask, with wood scabbard, 45cm (2)

. 1 - Rust pitting and delamination marks to blade. Some wear to grip. Repair to ivory pommel with fine cracks and staining. The beak of the pommel has been broken off and reglued. The other cracks are age cracks. The inner scroll of the tail feather and the wing tip each have a small chip on one side. One side of the blade has two delamination marks with wear to the pamor. 2 - Pitting to blade. Tip of scabbard is missing.
