shaped oval and with foliage and flower cast reeded border, with shell grips, engraved on each side of the border with the badge of the 20th (East Devonshire) Regiment of Foot, later the Lancashire Fusiliers

Fully marked under rim. The marks are clear. Further stamped underneath with maker's name. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points. There is some bruising and more obvious scratches/knife marks overall.
