An Isnik Dish, 17th century, of shallow circular shape, the central field painted with tulips and carnations and a long serrated swept leaf in blue, green and red, the border with tight scrolls in black, the underside with twelve leaf and circle motifs, the foot rim pierced for suspension, 30.5cm diameter

Some grazing and small flakes of enamel and glaze on the main field, but the main field and borders are generally good. Fritting and glaze loss to the rim. Foot rim possibly later pierced? Some slight flaking and chipping to the foot rim. Currently with old thick wire hanger. 010611
