The brooch is in fair condition, there is evidence of repair to the setting. It fastens with a pin and C-hook catch. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold. The yellow sapphire measures 11.57mm x 8.79mm x 6.04mm approximately. Gross weight 6.5 grams. CR made 22.11.21.
