A Sapphire and Diamond Butterfly Brooch

set throughout with round cut sapphires and round brilliant cut diamonds, in white claw settings, total estimated diamond weight 0.35 carat approximately

measures 2.6cm by 1.8cm

The brooch was valued for insurance purposes in 2019 at £4500. The brooch is in good condition. It fastens with a pin and revolver catch. It is stamped 'K18' and in our opinion would test as gold. It is also stamped 'D0.35' and 'S1.30' referring to the diamond and sapphire content. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 4.1 grams. CR made 17.11.21
