An 18th Century Scottish Dirk, with 40.5cm single edge blade, engraved, "Thy King and Countrys Cause Defend Though on the Spot Thy Lyfe Should End", within a thistle and foliate scroll border, carved wood grip, brass disc pommel engraved with swirls, 52.5cm overall, leather scabbard (possibly associated)

Some surface rust and pitting to blade. Hilt with scratching/scuffing but no worm. Brass pommel cap with small dents. Leather scabbard probably associated - in fair condition.
