. 1 - I am not sure if the case is folding or a box which has lost its top and base board, the edges are scuffed. The top and bottom of the book spine have minor wear, there is a small scuff to the backboard near the spine, otherwise the binding is good. The gilt top edge has small indentations. The fore-edge and bottom edge have spots of foxing. The tissue guard to the frontispiece has spots of foxing. Pages 14 to 18 have light pencil annotations. 2 - the translation has a dust jacket which has tears and folds. The edges are browned, otherwise good.
