A French Model 1874 Gras Carbine, with single shot bolt action, the 52cm steel barrel numbered t 57329, with hinged ladder rear sight, the action stamped "MANUFACTURE D'ARMES St Etienne, Mle.1874", the walnut stock with two spring retained brass bands, brass trigger guard and butt plate, with steel ramrod and Gras bayonet.
