Taxidermy: A Cased Tufted Duck (Aythya fuligula), by Peter Spicer & Sons, Taxidermists, (1839-1960), Royal Leamington Spa, a superb full mount adult drake, stood upon a small painted faux rock and soil island, amidst a natural setting of reeds and grasses, above a simulated glass pool of water, enclosed within a typical five-glass table display case with taped frame, supported upon an oak rectangular base, 42.5cm by 26.5cm by 39cm, for similar cased examples see Robert Chinnery's book "A Record of Spicers".
