. No introduction is needed for this iconic and popular post-war classic. With its development firmly rooted in the 1930s, the MG TD had all the grace and styling of its pre-war predecessors but has the benefit of post-war upgrades and practicality. This wonderful original example has been just released from long-term ownership. The paint can be described as good with some age-related marks and wear. Interior is complete and correct, sporting all its original fixtures and fittings, switch gear and seats. Chrome work is tarnished in places but delightfully patinated. The seats would benefit from leather treatment and, although old, definitely add to the car's authenticity and overall presentation (passenger squab needs attention). Wheels and tyres will require attention and a program of mechanical checks would need to be implemented in order to recommission this car responsibly.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
