A Small Brass and Silver Gilt Striking and Repeating Carriage Clock, signed Gay Lamaille, circa 1890, carrying handle and repeat button, corners with Corinthian capped columns, blue enamel Arabic numeral chapter ring, twin barrel movement with a platform lever escapement and striking on a gong, movement backplate with maker's mark GL for Gay Lamaille and numbered 1313, 14cm high over handle

Brass and silver gilt surfaces are discoloured in parts, right hand side glass with one small chip to the inside corner, enamel dial chapter ring with slight rubbing to the 9 & 10 o'clock numerals, strike and repeat are working, movement in going order, movement with the original platform escapement.
