The maps include Kino's Passage par terre à la Californie, Fritz's Cours du fleuve Maragnon autrement dit des Amazones, and similar; the plates include views, portraits of indigenous peoples including an Iroquois woman, a depiction of Chinese characters, and two folding tables relating to Chinese astronomy.
