Two Large Imperial Chinese "Yellow Dragon" Flags, each of pale gold linen appliqued in red, brown, cream and black with a dragon and flaming pearl, in a glazed ebonised frame, the reverse with a typed label 'This Flag and its companion once flew over the Imperial Chinese Maritime Customs Headquarters at Antung, Manchuria. After the death of the Emporor T'ung-Chih, the deposition of the Empire in November , 1911, and the accession of the Republic, these flags were presented to Captain R.Caldicott by Mr Hubbard, an Officer of the Chinese Customs Service.
