This watercolour was used by Alex Salmond (First Minister of Scotland 2007- 2014) as a Christmas Card in 2012 to mark the Year of Natural Scotland.
This painting was also used in the BBC's obituary on the artist

The sale also includes a singe owner collection of works by Harry Epworth Allen, and a collection from the Estate of Eric Hill. Also represented are David Shepherd, Mary Fedden, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Guy Taplin, Elisabeth Frink, Bob Dylan and Bram Bogart.
