A Second World War No.2 Leather Jerkin, with four brown plastic buttons and brown wool lining, labelled Size 1 (34" to 41" chest over jacket) and dated 1942; a Second World War 1940 Pattern Battledress Uniform, to a Private the Leicestershire Regiment, comprising a blouse with embroidered shoulder titles and 49th (West Riding) Divisional patches, labelled Size Small (31" to 32" chest), and a pair of trousers labelled Size No.6 (33" to 34" waist), dated 1945; a Post 1953 General Staff Officer's No.1 Dress Tunic, with staybrite buttons, scarlet gorget patches and Second World War medal ribbon bar, lacks shoulder straps, size 40" chest (

2 - Good clean condition.
3 - Some restitching to the underarms, lacks shoulder straps, otherwise good.

Militaria and Ethnographica Sales encompass items across diverse areas of collecting, from European and Eastern armour to 18th and 19th century firearms, military uniforms and documents, edged weapons, World War I and World War II ephemera, masonic regalia and medals.
Also included are a vast range of objects created in the early 20th century or earlier by indigenous cultures around the world, from early American civilisations to African tribes and Polynesian island cultures, incorporating religious idols, domestic and ritual objects, figurative sculpture, jewellery and weapons of all descriptions.

 

Viewing

Tuesday 22 March 10am-5pm and morning of sale from 8am. Viewing is open to the public, there is no need to make an appointment.
