NB: 'The Bard' is a private bottling from a single cask of Glengoyne single malt Scotch whisky, named in honour of the vendor's grandfather, poet Frank Noble Wood (c1878-1962), who was also known as 'Acorn'. In 1921, he won the Exeter Eisteddfod Bardic Chair for Poetry, the prize being a hand-carved chair which now adorns the label of the bottle
