Taxidermy: A Cased Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica), dated 1921, attributed to E.C. Saunders, Taxidermy, Great Yarmouth, a full mount adult male with head turning slightly to the left, stood atop a large painted faux rock, mounted above short grasses and pebble covered shoreline groundwork, set against a pale blue painted back drop, later re-cased within an ebonised period style three-glass display case, 35cm by 22cm by 46.5cm, bearing applied legend to interior right - "Puffin ♂, Blakeney Point, Norfolk, R.J. Pinchin, April 1921. Shot by Robert James Pinchin (1865-1943), Pinchin was a wildfowler from Cley Next the Sea Norfolk and later became the first warden at Blakeney Point.
